How to Add, Multiply, or Round a Whole Range in Excel at Once

Method 1 — Paste Special with an operation

Put the operand — say 5 — in a spare cell and copy it.
Select your range, then Paste Special and choose Add, Subtract, Multiply, or Divide.
The catch: the operand must be a whole number, and there's no percent, no round, and no absolute or negate.

Method 2 — a helper column

Write =A2*1.05 down a spare column, copy it, then Paste Special > Values back over the originals and delete the helper. It works, but it's four steps for a change you'll want to make again next week.
