In your ribbon in about two minutes.

Two ways to get it: install the native Windows app for a permanent ribbon tab, or add it from inside Excel on the web, Mac, and Microsoft 365. Both take about two minutes.

Two ways to install

Pick how you run Excel.

Windows desktop app

A permanent tab, in every workbook

Installs as a native Excel add-in, so the Tellsheet tab is always on your ribbon — no inserting it per file, it works offline, and the tools still update themselves.

Download for Windows

Free installer · 3 MB · Excel 2016 or later (64-bit) · no admin needed

Windows may show “Windows protected your PC.” Click More info → Run anyway — that’s Microsoft’s notice for new independent software, not a problem with the file. Then close and reopen Excel.

Web · Mac · Microsoft 365

Upload it to Excel on the web

Load Tellsheet from a small manifest file — the same 52 tools on Excel for the web, Mac, and Microsoft 365. Takes about a minute, no admin needed.

Microsoft AppSource SOON

One-click from the Office Store

Tellsheet is in Microsoft’s certification review. Once it’s live you’ll add it straight from Insert → Get Add-ins in Excel — no manifest file, no setup.

In the meantime, use either option above — same tools

1

Download the add-in file

Tellsheet loads from a small manifest file — it just tells Excel where to run the add-in from. Save it to your computer; you'll point Excel at it in the next step.

Download manifest.xml
2

Add it to Excel

Excel on the web (easiest): open Insert → Add-ins → Upload My Add-in, choose the manifest.xml you just saved, and click Upload. The Tellsheet tab appears in seconds — no admin needed.

Windows desktop: skip the manifest — download the Windows installer instead, for a permanent Tellsheet tab in every workbook.

A whole team, or Mac? Your Microsoft 365 admin can push Tellsheet to everyone via Integrated Apps in the admin center. For Mac desktop or centralized rollout, email us and we'll send the exact steps.

3

Enter your license key

Click the Tellsheet button, open the panel, and paste the license key from your purchase email. That’s it — all 52 tools and the command bar are live. Don’t have a key yet? Get Tellsheet for $39, or try the tools first and buy when you’re convinced.
